Schonstedt Metal Locators

We supply Radiodetection’s range of Schonstedt metal locators that provide an efficient, quick and easy solution to locate manhole covers and access points buried under tarmac, asphalt and paved surfaces.

This range consists of four magnetic locators, Maggie, Spot, GA-92XTd and RD312. 

Maggie is a pistol-grip magnetic locator.  It has a unique build that allows for single-handed operation. It combines the features of two flagship Schonstedt products, the sensitivity and precision of the GA-52Cx and the single-handed use of the GA-92XT.

Spot, is a next-generation magnetic locator that offers accuracy and ease of use in a sleek, light-weight package with improved ergonomics. 

GA-92XTd is an extendable, easy-to-use portable magnetic locator. The GA-92XTd retracts to fit in its holster (included) and extends for one-handed operation and fingertip control. It is capable of locating buried ferrous utilities buried 16 feet below the surface while giving audio and visual feedback.

RD312 is a metal locator capable of locating lost, buried or hidden metal manhole covers and access points. It features a simple 2-button operation, making it an easy-to-use metal locator when the higher performance of a magnetic locator is not needed.
